I joined AIR Studios in 1998. Starting as a runner, I quickly realised it was the best job in the world. I now have 19 years of world class experience of orchestral and band recording and mixing. Becoming Freelance on the AIR Management Roster in 2008, I specialise in projects working to picture, and I am equally at home in the world's best recording studios, to composer’s home studios.
I have recorded and mixed at all of London’s top studios, including AIR, Abbey Road, British Grove, Angel, AIR-Edel, RAK and Strongroom, encompassing all recording genres on projects that have been awarded many Soundtrack Awards, as well as Oscars, Baftas, Grammys, BRITS, & Golden Globes.
I was honoured to win the MPG award for Breakthrough Engineer in 2011, and only 2 years later to win Best Live Production.
The score to "Under the Skin" which I mixed has recently won 9 score awards, and "Everybody's Gone To The Rapture" won Best Music in the 2016 BAFTA games awards.

I can say that I'm a lucky man, and have a good pair of ears! I have music in my blood, as I grew up in a musical family house, with my Dad being a professional rock musician. It was the norm to me to be surrounded by music, and I'm happy that that has continued into my adult professional life – where I listen to some of the best music everyday, in the greatest sounding rooms with talented musicians and technical staff. Yes, I am a lucky man.
